About Villa Hantu
Villa Hantu, which translates to "Ghost Villa," is an abandoned architectural marvel located in the hills of Lombok. Despite its eerie name, the villa is not actually haunted but gets its moniker from its abandoned state and mysterious atmosphere. The structure features unique design elements blending modern and traditional architecture, making it a fascinating spot for photography and exploration.
Originally built as a luxury retreat, the villa was never completed and has since been taken over by nature. Its crumbling walls, open spaces, and panoramic views have made it an Instagram-famous location. Visitors can explore the various levels of the villa, each offering different perspectives of the architecture and views. The contrast between the man-made structure and the natural surroundings creates a surreal atmosphere that has captivated travelers and photographers alike.
